Formerly of Cherryhill Circle, London, passed peacefully at University Hospital, London on November 20, 2018 in her 90th year. Dear sister of Marie and Ralph Payne and Elsie Lamb, sister-in-law of Lois Brown, Clifford Rollings and Jim Windsor. Predeceased by her brother George Brown (2008), sister Dorothy Rollings (2018), brother-in-law Jim Lamb (2009) and sister Janet Windsor (1992). Margaret will be missed by her nieces, Deb, Janet, Bonnie and Nancy and nephews Glenn, Ron, John, Donald and Gordon. Margaret was a retired school teacher and principal for the London Board of Education and a 50-year member of the Delta Kappa Gamma – Gamma Chapter. At Margaret’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment at Nairn Cemetery. Donations in Margaret’s memory to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by her family.

So sorry for your loss of this wonderful friend. Marg was a great friend for many years. She was my principal and was the person who had me join Delta Kappa Gamma. She was a wonderful close friend of Elsie Bruce and I am so pleased that we saw Elsie this past summer. She also knew so much geneology of of my family which was helpful for me plus a relative from out West. She will always be remembered and will be truly missed by many! May she rest in peace!

My thoughts and prayers are with your family in the loss of Marg a sister and an aunt. I had the privilege to have Marg as my principal and she invited me to join Delta Kappa Gamma. Marg was a mentor, a true friend and in her quiet way was kind and supportive to all. She will be fondly missed. Rest in Peace.

I did not know Marg well, but we had met on a few occasions at Delta Kappa Gamma events. I knew her to be a great lady and close friend to many. The members of her London chapter will miss her dreadfully and my sympathy goes out to her family and friends.

I am so sorry for your loss. I taught with Marg for several years. She was a great friend, who I called on many times for advice. After we retired Marg and I travelled to Florida and Alaska. I will miss her very much.

I worked as a teacher with Marg at Arthur Stringer school in London for several years. Marg was the Principal of a terrific school with a dedicated staff. She wrote an wonderful evaluation for me and counseled me as I applied for a VP role in London. It was her guidance that helped me attain that goal and move on to work as a VP and later as a Principal in London. She was a strong leader in that role with the London Board.
