Dolores M. Jefferies

Passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital, with Kasey and Brian at her side, on Monday, December 24, 2018 in her 82nd year; formerly of Komoka. Beloved wife of the late Earl L. Jefferies (2013). Loving mother of Brian Thomson (Jenny), Kasey Thomson (Ernie Feasey), Charles Thomson (Betty), Rick Thomson (Ruth Ann), Brenda Ray (Terry), Wendy Florence, the late Danny Jefferies (2017) and the late Cecil Thomson. Cherished grandmother of Kristina, Jacob, Deidre (Aaron), Kristin (Candice), Samantha (Shawn), Shawna (Brian) and Jason (Carly); and great-grandmother of Sierra, Kyla, Keyan and Alyssa.  Predeceased by her baby brothers: Edward William Sitzer (1947) and Terry Douglas Sitzer (1984). Life-long friends to Olive Collins and the late Glady Buliga. Dolores will be fondly remembered by all of her family, extended family, and friends. Special thank you to Rev. Frank Mantz for his friendship, and her comrades of Byron Legion Branch 533, and Delaware Legion Branch 598. Visitation will be held on Friday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Private interment of ashes at Woodhull Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Dolores are asked to consider Parkwood Institute – Veterans Care or War Amps of Canada.

Dear Kasey and family, I am so sorry for your loss, Tootie was an amazing person and someone that makes you a better person for just knowing her,I have so many wonderful memories of your mom.
