Ida May Masters (née McWade)

Passed away peacefully at University Hospital, on Saturday, February 9, 2019, with family by her side. Beloved wife and best friend of 75 plus years to husband, Thomas.  Cherished mother of Paul (Debra). Adored grandmother of four grandchildren and great-grandmother of five great-grandchildren. Predeceased by son, Brian, October 22, 2014 (Eileen). Lifetime member of Hyatt Avenue United Church and Fairmont United Community Church. Long-time Kiwanian serving several terms as president with Kiwanis Club of Thames Valley. Ida was cherished and much loved by her family and friends. Our heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nursing staff in the cardiac unit for their compassionate care. At her request, there will be no funeral service or visitation. A family Celebration of Life will follow. Those wishing to donate in memory of Ida are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
