Passed away peacefully at his home, on Thursday, February 14, 2019, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Barbara. Joseph will be missed by his special friend, Susana Peters. Also missed by family and friends in Canada and abroad. A funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Joseph are asked to consider a charity of your choice.

We are so grateful for the love and support that Joe provided for our mother. Although we drifted apart after moms death he remained in our hearts. Joe made a lasting impression on those lives he touched and helped mold. May his loved ones find peace knowing that Joe was a wonderful man with a heart of gold.

Our family is very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. My parents were good friends of he and Milica when they had their home on Sanders Street here in London. When they decided to build out off Wellington South of London dad went a number of times to help Joe as did others. Once built my parents went there regularly to chat and play cards. I took my parents out there a number of times for a visit and they were always glad to see us. Once Milica and my dad passed; Joe found another friend and we sort of drifted apart. However they chose eternal residences just a few yards apart at Woodland and we were able to go there regularly. Joe has been a part of my life for likely over 40 years and I am so grateful how open and welcoming they were and such good friends with my parents. Wonderful people.
