I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to both Maria & Stan and their respective families on the loss of their father. I first met John in 1985 at the lake & had nothing but the greatest respect for a man who endured so much in his early life. Born in 1917 in the Ukraine which was part of Imperial Russia at that time he suffered under the policies of Lenin & the Holodmor of 1932-1933 under Stalin & the Nazi invasion during World War II. After the war leaving the Ukraine & marry Olga he moved to Canada & raised a family. He was quiet & I learned from him his absolute love of concrete. He would show me the benefits of concrete being placed here or there. He was a hard worker something born form his youth. After such a long hard working life it is time for John to be rest & may he have that eternal peace he so deserved. Bye John.
