It is with great sadness that we share the news of Bill’s sudden passing on Monday, April 8, 2019. Beloved son of Carole Howey and the late Murray Cox. Loving brother of Patti Cox (Rob Farrington) and Ted Cox (Judy). Proud uncle of Victoria Graham (Matthew) and Katherine Cox (Darren Wakem). He will be greatly missed by many friends and colleagues. Bill will be remembered as a kind soul with a free spirit. He was gifted with a talent for electronics and computer technology. During his 25 years at UWO, he pioneered and developed large presentation spaces to enhance educational opportunities. Recognizing his vision and skills, Bill was presented with the Western Award of Excellence in 2006. His adventurous side inspired him to pursue a career in Nicaragua, Central America, followed by a successful tenure of 10 years in his field in Toronto. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Private interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bill are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Dear Carole, Patti and Ted: It has been a long, long time. But still, those early years are meaningful and filled with great moments. I am grateful to have known Bill and I am so sorry to hear of his death. May you all be surrounded in love as you come together to remember his life and his love. Steven Chambers , Vancouver, BC.
I am so gratefull for growing up and being a friend of Ted ,Patti and Bill. I will always remember Bill as being a happy person and enjoying life. I'm sure he would like everyone to celebrate their lives and be happy as he would be. I also want say thankyou Mrs. Cox for all your hard work raising a great family. Sorry for your loss .
