Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Glendale Crossing on Friday, April 19, 2019, in his 92nd year. Cherished husband of Marguerite for 65 years. Beloved father of Kathy Sossi (Ezio). Loving grandfather of Martina Preney (Mike Jr.) and Cassandra Sossi, and great-grandfather of Layne and Jameson Preney. He will also be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends in Belgium. Florent was an excellent fisherman and will now be putting these skills to use in heaven, after having depleted the waters of Stoney Lake of its fish for several years! Visitation will be held on Monday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Sarnia. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Florent are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society.
