Passed away peacefully at the age of 88, on Friday, July 26, 2019, at Trillium Villa Nursing Home, Sarnia. Beloved wife of the late Bill Thompson (1976) and Spence Cummings (1995). Loving mother of Pam and Don Oetting (Sarnia); mother-in-law of Joe Fritz (New Hamburg); and sister-in-law of Beverly Johnston (Magnolia, Texas). Cherished grandmother of DJ (Stephanie) Oetting, Tiana Oetting (Tyson Fulcher) of Sarnia and Ian Bell (Katrina Bender) of New Hamburg. Great-grandmother of her precious little Easton Oetting. Loving aunt to several nieces, nephews and their families. Her love for her family knew no bounds. Predeceased by her parents Mildred (1969) and Leonard (1973) Johnston; her brother Crawford (Skip) Johnston (2018); and her precious daughters Denise Fritz (2013) and Deborah Thompson (1956). Fondly remembered by the Oetting family, the Fritz family of New Hamburg and the family of her second husband, the late Spence Cummings. Lenore was Past Queen of the Daughters of the Nile. She will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Trillium Villa for their compassion and care. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Interment of ashes at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Shriners Hospitals for Children – Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada are appreciated.

Pam,Don and family Since the first time I met your mother she treated me like one of the family. She had the best mischievous smile, zest for life and always up for a good party usually being the life of the party. She will be greatly missed. Out thoughts and prayers are with you all.
