Passed away peacefully, at University Hospital, on Wednesday, July 31st, 2019, in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Sue. Loving father of Tracy (Alvaro) and Chris. Proud grandfather of Max, Aurea and Sam. Dear brother of Theresa. Cherished brother-in-law of Doug and Elaine. Grant will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Grant was a loving, kind and caring family man and a friendly and helpful member of the Whitehills and Emily Carr community. He will be missed. A Celebration of Grant’s Life will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Grant are asked to consider London Health Sciences Foundation – Intensive Care Unit.

I am so sorry for your loss. Grant was so friendly! He was a light and positive energy in our community. I will miss our chats! He will be missed by so many people!
I offer my condolences for your loss. Grant's passing is a loss for many, especially the children he faithfully looked out for each day, in all kinds of weather. He was always friendly, courteous and kind.

I first knew Grant as an Optimist and then was delighted to see his never failing cheerful countenance every morning as he greeted and ushered children and their families safely across the street. He made walking to school special and set the happy tone for all. He will be greatly missed. Please accept my most sincere and heartfelt sympathy
Grant meant more than safe arrival for so many in our community. He will be remembered as a caring friend who always made time for a chat and a smile. I will miss him every morning.

Dear Sue, Chris and Tracy: Although we did not know Grant well, we are deeply saddened by his passing and the loss you are undoubtedly feeling. Sue, you were an inspiration to many students during your time at Leesboro Central School. Scott, Barry and Gordie are all married with their own families now. Our sincere condolences to you and your family. Cherish the memories.
Tracy, we send so much love to you and your family. Grant had such a wonderful spirit! His daily injection of smiles and friendly conversation will be sorely missed by everyone, every day.
