Peacefully with family by his side, Tyler passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019, in his 16th year. Tyler loved playing Challenge Ball with his amazing friends over the past eight years, and enjoyed watching Pixar movies with his family and support team. He always kept a special place in his heart for Elmo. He was a reluctant artist with a great sense of humour. He loved to go on nature strolls. Loving son of Helen and Darren Connolly. Treasured brother of Robert Connolly and Alicia (Alan) Vaillancourt. Dear uncle of Em. Beloved grandson of Muriel and the late Ken Connolly, and Victor and Christine Zurawski. Beloved nephew of Wendy (Scot) McCavour, Teresa Zurawski, Brian (Jill) Connolly, and Bob (Melissa) Zurawski. Tyler will be greatly missed by his cousins, extended family, caregivers, friends, and especially by his furry friend, Barnaby. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation for the exceptional care given to Tyler by the nurses and his entire home support team. A visitation will be held on Friday from 7:00 ~ 9:00 p.m., at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. In honour of Tyler and for Cerebral Palsy, please wear green, or a bright colour, to celebrate his life. Cremation to follow. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Tyler are asked to consider the Children’s Health Foundation or Easter Seals Ontario.

Even though I only saw him for dental appointments when he came to get his teeth cleaned, I could see how much Tyler was cherished. I will always remember you bringing Elmo to Tyler's cleanings and the little squeak that Elmo made would make Tyler laugh.
