Rejoicing that John is finally trouble free. We will remember only the good memories that showed your true character and love of others and your God. Rest in peace brother.
I'm grateful that John went quickly and will cherish all the good memories we had as kids up on Uncle Edgar's farm. Those were the good old days! I look forward to seeing cousin John in heaven as he too had received Christ as his Saviour and Lord and demonstrated it over many years.
To quote another John (Keats).."How strange it is that man on earth should roam and lead a life of woe but not forsake." How brother John fought and has now won peace that passes understanding.
My condolences to all the family at this sad time. I will cherish the memories and look forward to new conversations with John in heaven.
Sorry I can't join in the celebration of John's life, but know that we are thinking of you all during this time. We can now say that God's grace was sufficient and remember the good times with John knowing he has found his peace.
