William ‘Bill’ Chown

Passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital, on Wednesday, January 29th, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer, in his 54th year. Dearly loved son of the late Ted and Betty Chown. Loving brother of Arlene (Brian), Blair (Linda) and Bruce (Emily). He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. A special ‘thank you’ to Robert Fleetwood, who cared for his uncle during difficult times. Bill was an avid sports fan. He was a longtime employee at the London Ski Club. A memorial reception will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 1:00 ~ 3:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bill are asked to consider the London Regional Cancer Program.

To the Chown and Fleetwood Families: Thinking of you all. We are very sorry for your loss and feel a deep sadness in our hearts as well. We have so many fond memories of Billy especially: "Go Knights Go!" and "Warm Up the Bus!" Billy, you will always hold a special place in our hearts. You are a shining star! To Blair, Arlene and Bruce. I'm am so sad to hear of the passing of one of my best friends Billy.
