Dear Doreen, I was deeply saddened this week when I saw that your dear George had died. Please accept the sincere sympathy I feel for you having lost your life long partner/friend of 69 years. You are in my thoughts.......Hugs, Jackie
Doreen, we were saddened to hear of George's passing. Rob and I send our sincere sympathy to you and your family. It was a pleasure to have known George and his friendly, easy going way. He was always so cheerful and appreciative and will truly be missed.
Dear Doreen, Kim, Rob & Dolores and Sandy. We were so sorry to learn of George's passing. He was a wonderful man and a pleasure to know. As kids, we all looked up to George. He had a definite "Dad-edge" whenever Rob and I were up to our annoying teenage antics, but he also had a keen sense of humor and I think he often enjoyed the joke as much as we did, after we had be properly admonished of course! George was someone who took a genuine interest in people and who always had a question or a kind word to make you feel important and valued. The world would be a much better place if every street had a George Kochel. Please accept our deepest sympathies.
So sorry to hear about George. I'll always remember George's sense of humour and the bagel stand he gave me. Many fond memories. Peter MacKichan

We are so sorry to hear the passing of Geroge. We could not have had better neighbours then you both when we moved next door in 1979. I know there is little I can say to console you but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you Doreen and your family.
Wow! With your occasional emails, we certainly didn't see this coming. I think we must have met way back, when we were teens. And through the years, some amazing highlights and memorable times! Doreen, I've always said, he could not have been in better hands. We must now try, stronger than ever, to get together to treasure some of those memories. Warmest wishes Doreen Stay well... George and Joan
With sympathy to you all. George was an amazing man with a smile that lit up a room. Cherish the memories and take care of each other.
George Kochel was one of the kindest people I have ever known. Always took the time to say hello and ask how you were doing. He really wanted to know that you were doing well and that he was genuinely concerned. Rob, you are so much like your dad. Witty and smart. Doreen, Rob, Deloris and family I am so sorry for your loss. He was a good man with a kind heart. God bless him.
Sending my sincerest condolences to all. I know that you will cherish the wonderful memories. I have some memories as well. May he Rest In Peace

Doreen, Kim, Rob & Delores, Sandy I echo the comments of others. The world is a poorer place without George Kochel. He was a kind decent man who always had time for others. Ross and I were talking about how good he was to our family after our Dad died. I know you will miss him dearly but I also know you all have many happy memories to cherish.
