Also known as “Dr. Jazz”, passed away peacefully at University Hospital, on Thursday, December 17, 2020. Beloved husband of Liz for 32 years. Cherished father of Jamie Davidson, Jill Schaefer (Corey), Jason Gabbert-Fleming, Lee McQuagge (Joey), and Karen Johnson (Brian), and David Davidson (Sherri). Proud Grandpa of Dylan, Keaton and Kiah Davidson; Devony Lescacres; Justin, Matthew and Cooper Schaefer; Myles and Joan Fleming; Alexander, Callum, and Sarah McQuagge; and Harper, Caden and Brantley Johnson. Dearly missed by his sister Muriel Smithers (Luke); and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Harold (1985) and Delta (1973) Fleming; sister, Geraldine MacLean (2012); and nephew, Marshall Wilson (2017). A public visitation will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2020 from 2:00 – 2:45 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a private Celebration of Life will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. The family welcomes friends to view the service via livestream. Registration is required to attend the visitation or to view the livestream of the service.

Liz, I am so sad to hear about Ron's passing. He was a warm, giving man with a wonderful sense of humor. I have such great memories of you & Ron and the laughter & fun we shared through his years with the trio. I will be thinking of you in the difficult days ahead Love Barb Coffey
Liz & Family: Audrey and I were saddened to read of Ron's passing. Not only did we work together and become business partners, Ron was a good friend for over 40 years. In later years, we even shared the same Barber, and I was always hopeful of crossing paths with Ron, but timing was cruel and I had always "just missed him". Ron was always easy going, yet held the qualities of being honest and fair with a good sense of humour. Memories are the greatest gift. Hold them close to you as they will provide comfort in the weeks to come.
Liz, so sorry to hear of Ron's passing it was quite a shock. Have missed bumping into you both at Jazz concerts this crazy year! Our thoughts go out to you. Condolences to you and the family. Love Jackie and Barrie.

So very sorry for your loss Liz. I can still see Ron sitting on the bow of the boat, dressed in white jeans, red sweater and hat. Not a hair out of place, not a spot on his jeans, even after camping for the weekend. Our guys will have lots to talk about. Old dives, music and fun times.
