Todd Alan Gruden

June 30, 2021

It is with broken hearts and great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Todd Alan Gruden on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at the too-early age of 61. Todd passed away while spending time at one of his favourite places, the family cottage up North.

Todd was a devoted husband, an amazing father, and adored Papa, who will be deeply missed by his wife, partner and best friend, Riki; his loving daughters Mallory (Rob) and Brittany (Adam); and his new grandson, Kaden. He leaves behind his beloved mother, Dianne Gruden. He was the dear brother of the late Craig Gruden. Todd will also be remembered and missed dearly by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Don and Janet Martin; his brother-in-law, Kirk Martin (Jayne); and his nieces and nephews.

Todd was a passionate, hardworking and driven man who took great pride in both his personal and professional accomplishments. Throughout his career, he made countless long-lasting friendships and impacted the lives of many. He was a generous man, who was always there for anyone who needed him. His sense of humour and playful presence lit up every room he entered. Todd enjoyed a good time and was always the life of the party. He loved telling jokes, singing the oldies and busting a move while cranking his tunes just a little too loud. Todd will also be remembered for his love of Sunday football, fast cars, relaxing at the lake and most of all, spending time with his family. His infectious smile and kind heart will be greatly missed.

As per Todd’s wishes, cremation will be followed by a Celebration of Life gathering, where his loved ones can share fond memories and give a toast in his honour. A Celebration of Life will be held at West Haven Golf & Country Club, 7038 Egremont Drive, London, on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Details to follow at:  >www.toddgrudencelebrationoflife.com. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Ronald McDonald House Charities Southwestern Ontario.

Dad, we will miss you “infinite and copious amounts and even more.”

As Todd would always say…

“Bye for now.”
