Sylvia ‘Sylvie’ Quimper-Bezeau

Peacefully at home, in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of James for 47 years. Cherished mother of Alain (Bernadette Bezeau). Predeceased by her daughter, Stephanie Smith (Gary) in 2014. Dear sister of Carol (Maurice Lepage), Francine Quimper (Andre Gagnon), Christine (Pierre Roy), and Michel Quimper (Patricia Lindsay). Born in Noranda, Quebec, to Roland Quimper and Yvonne Desjardins-Quimper, Sylvie moved to London, Ontario, in 1978 and was a homemaker while the children were in school. In 2004, she retired from the Ministry of Education West Ontario Regional Office. Throughout her entire life, whatever task she took on, she did it well. She loved reading, gardening and traveling. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be conducted at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. Registration is required to attend.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Sylvie was a ray of sunshine who brightened our days at WORO.
Dear Jim and all in the Bezeau and Quimper families, I am so sorry for your loss. Robert and Mary Ann have kept me updated about your situation over the last several months and I applaud your dedication and the care that you gave to Sylvie. As you grieve you can do so knowing that you did all that you could to surround her with the love and care that she needed in her last months.

Dear Quimper and Bezeau families, Dear Jim, Alain, Bernie, and Christine, We are so sorry for your loss. Sylvie was a very special friend to me (Jocelyne) and I will miss her terribly. Our sincere condolences. Jocelyne and Phil PS - JIM, many thanks for letting me (Jocelyne) visit Sylvie to almost the very end. Your dedication to home palliative care for Sylvie was exemplary, the love evident. CHRISTINE, quelle sÅ“ur cadette fantastique tu as été pendant ces derniers trois mois, toujours à son chevet aussi. â¤ï¸ à vous deux. BERNIE and ALAIN, I enjoyed getting to know you both during your visit in July/August. You were such a great support to your mom and dad. Big hugs to you both.
