The Mico University College Alumni Association (MOSA) offer to the family of our colleague Leo Oats our deepest condolences. He was a dedicated educator who believed in "service to his fellowmen." Subsequent to graduating from The Mico and working with the motto "Do It With Thy Might," Leo and his colleagues contributed much to society. No surprise that he continued in the Medical field as a Dentist providing dedicated service to his trusting patients. A distinguished Miconian, Leo made us all very proud of his accomplishments and his undeniable commitment to his alma mater. He maintained contact with his colleague Miconians and built a wholesome and welcomed climate of comradery and assistance to The Mico in Jamaica. His love for the playing of Domino was a bond for all. Leo lived a life as seen in the words of DESIDERATA "Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender. be on good terms with all persons." May his soul enjoy eternal peace.

My deepest sympathy to Kerris, Max and your family. Your dad was a great friend to John. When John was unable to go for their weekly Wednesday lunch your dad would come to the house and visit. He did not miss many weeks and as his health started to decline he came with the help of Sherry and Floyd. Leo was ready to take his place with his Lord and I feel sure he and John are once again having their weekly visits. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Marion, Susan, Sandra and Allan
When God made Leo I am sure he said "magnificent, I am giving a great gift to the world. Him likkle but im tallawah!!!" It was more than joyous being around Leo. On entering his house there is a sign reminding you you're entering God's house and there would be consequences if you don't behave and "straighten up and fly right." My great friend Leo was a man of conscious integrity and unblemished pity whose conscience went beyond the frontier of his own life to assist others. He reminds me of the great English poet, Emily Dikinson, who said it is important to help others to make their life a business of delight. Let us remind ourselves that death is but a gateway to an eternal life and no one but God has the power to decide. Goodbye my friend and safe travel to heaven's gate. ?"Don't worry 'bout z thing 'cause every little thing is gonna be alright."? One love. Sleep and take your eternal rest until we all meet again.
It has been such a pleasure to have hosted your family gatherings here at the Travelodge. It was a blessing to have seen all the family that came to celebrate that special weekend together. My sincere and deepest sympathy to all the family, your love will get you through this difficult time.
