Dear Heather and Glady: we are so sorry to to learn about Murray’s passing. We were such good friends growing up in London as neighbours. Murray was my best friend and I was his Best Man and he was my Best Man at our respective weddings. I still remember our motorcycle trip to Florida when we were both single. We enjoyed bowling every Sunday, playing chess in his parents basement and horseback riding. Somehow we lost touch as we were busy working and raising a family. Our thoughts are with you both Heather and Glady and hope your memories comfort you going forward. Sincerely, Michael & Dianne McCabe, Barrie, ON

I will always remember Murray. He was a very kind and considerate person who always thought of others before himself. When I was younger we went to Canada's wonderland together and had the time of my life. I will remember that day forever. Rest in peace Murray . Big hugs.

To my sister Heather, It's okay to cry, no apologies required. Knowing that Murray is gone makes me cry too. There is no denying Murray was a special person. His greatest gift was his selflessness. Quote: " To know that even one life breathed easier because you have lived, this is to have succeeded." Ralph Waldo Emerson To Murray, You were a man of great success. Thank you, from the most grateful part of so many hearts. Tammy Boose ( sister-in-law)

Heather, we are so sorry that you have lost your soul mate, loving husband and lifelong companion. As our neighbour, Murray was always respectful, helpful and pleasant. He was an avid gardener and we will always marvel at his lovely landscaping, tree planting and beautiful lawn statues. He was a helpful neighbour to those who could not clear their walkways of snow and was always there to keep the hedges trimmed and grass cut for those appreciative neighbours. We were always delighted to see you and him enjoying your sunbrella and patio furniture with good friends and neighbours. Murray always offered kind words to everyone and was a great father to your beautiful and loyal pug friends. He will be sadly missed by all of us on Almond Court but we know we will always have an angel in the court watching over all of us. May God bless you Heather during this very difficult and sad time and know that we will always be there for you.

Murray was simply the best custodian I worked with in 16 years as principal. He took pride in his school, was conscientious and never stood still. He took a real interest in students and was so helpful with staff. Our sincere sympathies to Murray’s family in your time of grief!

Hey Sister (#5), Murray loved you so much. When he spoke of you, his eyes lit up and he grinned like a starry-eyed teenager! It always warmed my heart. It will be challenging for you after 38 years of marriage but, you will get through this as he will walk beside you in spirit everyday. Murray has taken a little piece of all our hearts, and he will forever be remembered as a kind and loving person. I will miss our annual brunch and seeing Murray enjoy his coffee, bacon and eggs. I love you and am here for you. Brenda xoxo
