Gregory (Gregg) Philip La Rocque
October 30, 1955 - April 10, 2022
Born October 30, 1955 to Dr. Raymond La Rocque and Jeanette (Miller) in Windsor, Ontario.
He was passionate about his business and helping others, working with Mannatech Incorporated as a Presidential Director. A family man, loving and supportive husband, Gregg will forever be remembered as young at heart, genuine, and the rock of his family. His story telling captured his audience and his zest for life brought family together over and over again. He rarely followed suit and always chose the path less travelled; his family were lucky enough to walk that path with him as long as they did.
Married to Doris Eileen Merlo on June 4, 1977 at St. Rose church in Windsor. Survived by his five children: Nathan, Lindsay (Dino Silvestri), Sean (Stacey Hodgson), Jeffrie, Kristyn (Younan Samra).
Grandparents to seven grandchildren: Jayden, Carter, Eva, Michele, Vinney, Arlo, Brynlee, and two others on the way.
Loving brother to his ten siblings: Michael (Marguerite), Timothy (Anesa), Stephen (Jeanne), Lynn (Dean), Christopher (Kelly), Paulette (Bill), Pamela (John), Shari (Robert), Cindy (Michael), and Paul (Amy).
Gregg died peacefully, surrounded by his wife and five children.

It is said that a soul's journey is eternal and through such a cosmic dance, the endless gathering of souls are priceless. I never had the opportunity to meet this beautiful soul in person , our relationship unfolded with our desire to help so many people. Gregg's essence radiated love and care for all those in his life . His constant determination to serve on this planet was easily felt in my soul and to those that connected with Gregg. I am certain , our souls will meet once again and I am certain his family will only continue to hold the blissful memories of such a man named Gregg. I am honoured and blessed to have worked with you Gregg, thank you for taking care of me and my patients. Love and Light, Adonis

So sorry for your loss. His legacy is a triumph. Keep his memory alive in all the stories you retell about him to the younger ones. God Bless.
Doris, we are very sorry to hear of Gregg's passing. Our deepest sympathy to you and your Family.
To Doris and the great La Rocque extended FAM, sincere condolences for the loss of Gregg. I was fortunate to share so many great moments in late 70's often with McKinley, Lucas and crew. No doubt, some of the best times of my life. Nobody had a better delivery for a joke, tremendous laugh and consistent zest for life and good times. I always felt privileged to be your friend Gregg. I will always remember meeting up with the whole family at Riu Tequila MEX and how proud Gregg was to introduce me to his children and tell me of their accolades. He was a great father and highly accomplished...confident, successful business man. Thoughts and prayers are with you every day my friend.
The LaRocque and McMahon families, along with the McKinley, go way back to our grade school days at St.Anne's, where we played basketball together, skipped out of Saturday night mass, and played in Willestead Park hanging out with soupy and playing baseball until the streetlights went on. Gregg was our ring leader, the coolest guy ever and the guy we all wanted to hang around with. Gregg continued to be that guy. So sad to hear that his light has gone out. To Doris and family, may your memories bring you strength and the deepest condolences help you through this difficult time.
Hi Doris and all the family, I don’t even know where to start to express my grief and my sympathies to you. As for you, it is for me such a shock to hear of this. But want to send prayers, thoughts, and sympathies to all from me and my mom Jeanne. Thinking of you all and take care Love to all
Doris, The few times I ran into Gregg in Windsor it was like going back to the AKO days! We offer our profound condolences at this difficult time and are thankful for the times we shared. Ed
I don't know where to begin, floored, dumbfounded, an in shock. Gregg spoke and dealt with probably thousands of people, but when he spoke to me either in person or over the phone, it was as if we were the only two people in the world. I spoke to Gregg half a dozen times in the last few weeks. Since the late 90's you fast became one of my most cherished friends who was always there for me. I love you my friend and I'm really going to miss you. I could go on and on, so I know I should wrap it up with my most heartfelt condolences to Doris and family, and a very special thanks to sister-in-law Carol for contacting me and doing her best to comfort me when I was completely lost and in shock.
So sorry for your loss. My thoughts abs prayers are with you and your family. Suzy & Family
I am heartbroken to learn this news. Gregg was as kind as he was cool. And he was the coolest guy in our Walkerville neighborhood. I extend my deepest condolences to Doris and the entire La Rocque family.
I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Gregg’s passing. I have wonderful memories of him, and the family. We laughed like crazy and had some great adventures. I will forever remember him for the twinkle in his eyes, and his kind nature. Even as a teenager, he was a good guy. Another bright light has been extinguished far to soon. Doris and Family, I am so sorry for this devastating loss. Sending light and love to you all, and holding you close to my heart. An old friend, Susan (Bula) Lucas
As friends of the family we were shocked and saddened by this news. Our sincere codolences to Doris and the entire LaRoque family.
Doris, Lindsay and family. I am so sorry to hear about Gregg. He was a professional at his job, a kind and patient person who was always will to help. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Deepest condolences to Doris and family. We are both deeply saddened by the news. I have many fond memories of Gregg while growing up in Walkerville. Along with the McKinley's, we would play basketball for hours on end in John Elcombe's driveway. In addition, the summers were spent at Willistead Park where we all spent most of the day playing horseshoes, baseball and frisbee. In high school I had the pleasure of playing basketball with Gregg at Brennan. He was an excellent basketball player and a great friend. Colette has fond memories of Gregg and family when the Thiberts and Larocques vacationed at the same time in Port Elgin. Rest in peace my friend Colette and Stan

The world is a much sadder place, Doris and Family please accept my deepest & sincerest condolences on Gregg's passing, one of the truly best friends you could ask for. I was so saddened and shocked upon hearing of Gregg's passing, and my heart breaks for you, Doris, and all of your children. I considered Gregg to be one of my best friends and he was always there for me when I needed a shoulder or some laughs (and we sure laughed a lot!). It was an honour for me to know him and I will always hold the memories close to my heart. A true gem of a soul whose very presence made the world a better place. His kindness and humility is an example for all of us. He will surely be missed but he has left us all with wonderful memories to live with. Thank you precious friend. Rest in eternal peace.
I am so deeply saddened by this news. Gregg was an amazing man who will be greatly missed by so many people!! I met Gregg and Doris in 1997 and and it changed my life for the better. I am truly grateful to have known Gregg. My sincere condolences to his beautiful wife Doris and the entire La Rocque family .
There are so many great times and memories of time spent with Gregg. Always a laugh and a story to tell. Memories include years on the basketball court, days on the golf course, Xmas Eve at the La Roque house when the kids were little, groomsman at our wedding, cottage time, trip to Florida (he actually got Craig started on coffee that trip), boys golf trips, sharing space at the factory during the Bathtub King years and so many more. Our daughters adored him as did everyone that knew him. He was a wonderful father and husband. We will always remember Gregg and share with all, the grief everyone is feeling with the loss of him in our lives. Condolences to Doris, the children, grandchildren and siblings. Words are not enough to express our deepest sympathies to all of you. Rest In peace dear Gregg.

Gregg was a true friend - loyal, trustworthy, compassionate, caring and loved like a brother. We will miss his sense of humour, quick wit and all the other qualities that made him a great person and family man. Our hearts go out to Doris and family as well as his siblings. Rest In Peace Gregg. We miss you immeasurably and will always remember you.
So very sad to hear this terrible news. I will always have great memories of times spent at the cottage with Gregg and the boys during the golf trips. With his sharp wit, and propensity to have fun, he was certainly always the center of the fun and laughs. And there was many. My thoughts go out to Doris and his family, and to Mike, Bernie, Mouse Man, and the rest of his siblings. RIP Gregg. Paul and Jocelyn Gignac
Greg was always so welcoming to whoever he met. His personality was so cheerful and humourous which made him a very likeable man by everyone. Make no mistake Greg filled the role of a family guy like no other person i've met and was very inspiring to the lucky people who got the chance to know him. Lots of memories at the port franks cottage and at the old place in Lambeth. Really thinking of the whole family right now. Very sorry.
What a sad news reached us at the otherside of the pond today. Gregg was always so kind, helpfull and sharing his wisdom even if he was not my upline. I really appreciated him very much . You are in my thoughts today. Condoleances and prayers to all the family. Rest in peace, Gregg. Love and light. Sabine Schalkwijk

I am so sorry and shocked to hear of Greg’s sudden passing. My condolences to Doris and family. God bless.
This man has been a second member of the Jones family for as long as I can remember. He was such a kind soul and loved my sister and I as his own. He would always greet us with a great big hug and played games and tell all the stories to us. My sister, Taylor and I would laugh and always enjoy his presence anytime we would visit. Gregg’s love will never diminish and kind soul will be remembered all our life. We love you LaRoque family.

It is with deep sadness that a best friend has gone on. Gregg and I were the best of friends and there is nothing but love and respect in my heart for him. Gregg was one of the few people who befriended me and made me feel good about myself. No one had such an impact on my growing up. He will be dearly missed by myself and those who knew him. Gregg has a strong and supportive family that will provide the comfort needed. From myself and my family, go with God, Gregg.

Words cannot express how deeply saddened I am for the LaRocque Family. Growing up Greg accepted me and treated me like another one of his kids and I will be forever grateful for knowing him. I will remember him for his sense of humor, telling us like it is, yelling to us from the sidelines of our basketball games and our shared love for those chocolate striped cookies we used to eat together. I love you guys and am here for you. May he rest in peace. Forever Young ❤️
