Peacefully passed away at home on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at the age of 85. Loving mother of Gianni (Pam). Proud grandmother of Hannah and Will. Missed by her sisters Rita Benati (Dino), and Elena Arcese (the late Fernando). Predeceased by her parents Teresa and Angelo. Maria will be deeply missed by Princess, her furry companion, as well as her cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial reception will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Monday, May 23, 2022 between 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Private interment to take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Maria are asked to consider the Canadian Mental Health Association-Middlesex or the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.

Our Deepest Condolences the the entire Family of Pia. May she forever R.I.P.
Thinking of you Gianni, Pam, Hannah and Will at this difficult time. Joe will always be grateful for Maria's assistance when he was younger. She provided him with a place to live when he needed it and he will never forget the interesting experiences he had there along the way!
