Kathlene of London, in her 98th year, passed away peacefully at McGarrell Place on Monday, August 22, 2022. Beloved wife of the late MacKenzie Hey for 59 years. Loving mother of Ross (Adrian), Kathy Avey and Sharon Hey-Montgomery (Paul). Loving grandmother of Christina, Bryan M. Tara, Adrienne, Bryan J., Carolyn, Heather, Devin, Gillian and Alexis. Dear great-grandmother to Mackenzie, Collins, Jackson, Oliver, Spencer, Channer, Jonathan, Archer, Rhone and Max. Predeceased by her brother Reginald McGinnes and sisters Jean Holland and Mary Elinor Middleton.
Kay was a stay at home mother who enjoyed baking pies, knitting, playing bridge, traveling and spending time at the cottage. Many thanks to Kay’s dear friends Norma and Tony for their loving support over the years and to the staff at McGarrell Place for their dedicated care. My deepest condolences in the death of your mom - to Ross, Kathy, Sharon & families. Your mom and dad were great friends a long time ago.
