I wish to extend my sincere sympathy to Diane's family. She often welcomed the Alma College alumnae into her home for meetings and was a valued member when we met regularly years ago. I'm sorry I'm not with you in person on this sad day but you are all in my thoughts and prayers and I hope this will bring you some comfort knowing that friends care. My sincere condolences because it is not easy to lose a mother, grandmother and cherished relative. There was a quote in the Free Press near her obituary that says things better than I can: "When you speak of her, speak not with tears, for thoughts of her should not be sad. Let memories of the times you shared give you comfort, for her life was rich because of you." (Unknown Author)

Dear Tracey, Sherry and Families: Diane and I were not only neighbours but great friends as well. We shared many happy memories travelling together or sitting in Diane`s garage as well as shopping in Florida. We always managed to find time for a toast or a gab. Your mom was a wonderful compassionate lady with a great sense of humour and adventure. I will miss her laugh and can still her saying `--bring your lawn chair and your wine glass, I have the wine--- My deepest sympathy to all of you at this difficult time, and for the tremendous hole her loss will leave in your family.
