Dr. Andrew Edward Jones

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Dr. Andrew Edward Jones on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at the age of 52.  Andrew is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 22 years, Angela, and their cherished children, Adrian and Abigail.  He is also survived by his parents, Arthur and Gillian, his sisters Kathryn (Kevin) Farbridge and Sarah (Tim) Jones-Young, and he will be remembered as a beloved son-in-law (Mary and Mike Racine, Ted and Pam Pease), brother-in-law and uncle to his nine nieces and nephews.

Andrew loved to spend his weekends watching his children play sports, and sharing concerts, music and movies with them.  He was a dedicated and respected emergency room physician for over 20 years, and had recently begun working in palliative care.

The family would especially like to thank all of the first responders involved and the emergency care team at University Hospital for their outstanding and compassionate care.

A visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m.  A private service will be conducted separately.
