Peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, April 12, 2025 in her 93rd year, Dolores MacKinnon of London. Predeceased by her husband, Percival “Perc” MacKinnon. Cherished mother of Anthony William and the late Anita Louise. Missed dearly by her sister Susan Murray (Ronald), many nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends. Predeceased by siblings William Miles, Jack Miles, Frederick Miles, Patrick Miles, Elizabeth Brugger, and Elaine Thompson.
Dolores had a wonderful talent for quilting and taught many students.
A funeral service will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation an hour prior. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Dolores are asked to consider the Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
