Rob was one in a million!! Kind, caring, thoughtful. A gentle soul with a heart of gold. Whenever you’d see Rob, he’d be taking someone’s dog for a walk or taking the time to chat &/or ask how someone’s day was going. Rob had a genuine interest in the heart of others. He certainly made a difference in the lives of many, including mine. He was a good friend. Rob, I’m grateful you asked for a hug not that many days ago. Funny how the simple things become the most meaningful & memorable as time passes. I will miss you, my friend. 💔

Rob always had a great attitude, when I first met him a few years back; we spoke of sports , fitness and god. He was a great friend to myself, Nevada and most of all his love for cheese our dog. He would often drop off treats and inquire to the well being of cheese. He was a good person. Always had a smile and a quick joke. He put others before himself, often spoke of how much he loved his children. I looked forward to playing games and tossing the ball in this summer to come with him. Though that didn’t come to pass. Let this be a reminder to check in on the ones you cherish. And to look behind the smiles and I’m okays . One day you wake up and a friend / family is not there to share a quick joke or friendly smile. Good people are rare, I was lucky enough to befriend one in Rob. Rob is now in heaven waiting for those of us who remain; with a big smile and a helping hand. Until we meet again, I will cherish the time we had together my friend. Aaron, nev, cheese
