Ljubica Marusic (née Dimic) 

Our beloved Ljuba passed away at the age of 96 at home, battling pancreatic cancer, metastatic stage. Beloved wife of Nikola, she is survived by her daughter Snjezana (Davor), her grandchildren Tanja (Patrick), Goran (Lauren), and her two great-grandsons Malakai and Idris.

Ljuba lived a full life as a caring mother, an encouraging grandmother, a doting great-grandmother and a very dear friend. She spent many years changing the lives of children around her as a pedagogist in Yugoslavia. She was an amazing cook and baker, an avid reader, and she grew flowers so beautiful that everyone in the neighbourhood knew which garden was hers. She was a creative person her whole life, producing vibrant artwork through the collage technique and displaying her work through seven independent art exhibitions in Canada.

She was a gentle soul whose smiling face and warmth will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at Westview Funeral Home, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Friday, September 5, 2025, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., with speeches at 7:00 p.m.  A funeral will be held on Saturday, September 6, 202, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., at Woodland Cemetery, 493 Springbank Drive, London, section B, lot 107.
