On Thursday, September 11, 2025, Janet Lynds of London passed in her 83rd year.
Beloved wife of Doug for 56 years. Cherished mother of Megan Purvis (Scott) and Matt Lynds (Kristin). Proud Grandma of Jack, Emma, Charley, and Katie. Sister of Barbara Cervi and Diane Lyczkowski (Mike). Sister-in-law of Marilyn Catania (Mike), Bonnie Watson (Ben), and Amy Motyka. Pre-deceased by her brothers Johnny and Jerry Motyka.
Janet was a teacher for 33 years, and the head of ESL at Montcalm Secondary School.
Visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., with a Celebration of Life to follow at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Janet are encouraged to consider the McCormick Care Foundation.

Dear Matt and family; I was very sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. She was a huge help to me at Parkview when I had a student who needed ESL support. Your mom provided amazing resources and suggestions to me and greatly enhanced the success of that student. I offer my sincere sympathies and condolences during this difficult time. Lynn Doyle
