It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our treasured wife, mother and grandmother, Elsie, a former long-time resident of Burlington, in her 78th year on Thursday, September 18, 2025. She passed away peacefully with family by her side at London Health Sciences Centre University Hospital.
Beloved wife of Malcolm for 48 years. Devoted and loving mother of Denise (Nicholas) and Ashley (Lena). Cherished grandmother of James, Ella and Veronica Panou and Sarina, Savannah and Liana Mercado.
Elsie was a beautiful soul who will always be fondly remembered for her kindness, dedication and selfless nature. Her love of singing and sense of humour brought so much joy to those who knew her.
In keeping with Elsie’s wishes, a private Catholic memorial and cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in Elsie’s memory are asked to consider a charity of their choice.
Rest in peace, Mom. You will be forever in our hearts.
