Joan Irvine

Peacefully, on September 26, 2025, Joan passed away in her 93rd year. Loving wife of the late John Irvine. Cherished mother of Carole Jones (Paul), Janet Spriggs (Wayne), and the late Linda Carswell (David). Adored Grandma of TJ, Jennifer, Matthew, Ryan, John, Rachel, and Great-Grandma of seven. Joan will be remembered by her sister Eileen, related family in Australia, and many extended family members in Ireland.
Joan was very proud of her Northern Irish heritage. She also took pride in helping students during her decades as an Administrative Assistant at Western University.
Visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. A service will follow at 1:00 p.m. For those unable to attend the funeral service a livestream is available.

Burial will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

We feel very fortunate that Joan was our neighbour for so many years. We miss her lovely smiles. Many wonderful memories of Joan and John. Sorry we can’t be with you on Friday. Treasure your memories of such a kind, gracious woman.
