Ken was an intellectually curious man. He always wanted to better understand issues and to learn “the other side of the story”. He had a passion for seeing what was on the other side of the mountain. He and Helen took the family on numerous travel adventures in North America. He and Cathie also had numerous traveling adventures in Europe and elsewhere. Ken also loved to golf. The golf course was one of his happy places.
Family was very important to Ken. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, and became even closer to his siblings and their spouses as time moved forward.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him as an honourable and trustworthy man.

Ken’s quiet gentlemanly presence will be greatly missed. So very sorry for your loss.
To Ken's family - My late husband, Clarence so appreciated his visits with his cousin, Ken when he would take the time to connect when he came to Kingston to visit Laverne and Marina. He so enjoyed getting caught up on what was going on in his life. From those visits, I remember Ken as a very well spoken, glass half full type of man with a glint in his eye that revealed he could be up to mischief in a second. My deepest sympathy at this time for the loss of your loved one.
Dear Steve and family, So sorry to hear of your father’s passing.
Ken was always a joy to speak with. I always valued his integrity, curiosity, and matter of factness. The world just lost a legend.
Our family sends warm condolences during this difficult time. A donation of $150 has been given to The Parkinson's Society in memory of my dear friend Ken.
