Passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025 at University Hospital, London, in his 97th year. Survived by his loving partner, Marysia Tamse. Predeceased by his wife Irene Prosser (1995). Devoted father of Angela Prosser (Robert Gendron). Cherished Grandpa of Benjamin and Violet. Fondly remembered by extended family and friends.
Severin retired after a successful career with Standard Tube in Woodstock. He was a long-time resident of the 11th Line in Woodstock, and more recently, a resident of Oxford Gardens retirement community.
Severin was an avid chess player and a talented woodworker. He cultivated a love of nature that included beekeeping. He had a young outlook on life and believed in living life to the fullest.
Visitation will take place at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. A private family entombment will take place at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
The family encourages anyone wishing to make a donation in Severin’s memory to consider the Bruce Trail Conservancy.

Sorry for your loss I remember spending time with your mom and dad and you Angela on the 11th line when we were young. Erich Prosser was your dad's brother I am your cousin Angela Michael Prosser your dad was my uncle. He lived a good life.
A beautiful soul! His love for nature truly inspired me. His hardworking nature kept a piece of paradise for those he cared for to treasure. He was peaceful, kind-hearted. Loved that he enjoyed chess. He will be deeply missed. Thinking of his family and hoping they find peace during these times of missing him. Deepest condolences 🙏

I have so many fond memories of your dad from listening to his stories with his accent! I loved how he pronounced Lenette, to admiring all of his candles and all the things he made! He always welcomed a visit and made it seem as though no time had passed. He was able to create a bit of paradise on the 11th line and the memories of rowing around the pond and sunbathing on the dock to the Dolly Parton gardens😀 remain a part of all those who were lucky to experience it. He will be missed! Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
