Suddenly at home, on Saturday, November 22, 2025, John Adams of Kilworth, at the age of 76.
Beloved husband of Ruth, for 43 years. Cherished father of Brian Adams (Beccy), Kyle Moran, and Laurie Bannerman (Randy). Proud Papa John of Meghan and Allison Adams, and Ryan Bannerman. Missed by his sister Doris Mills (David), brother Murray Adams (Beverly), and by his brother-in-law Anthony Puzara (Karen). Also missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Harry Adams and Laura (Hamilton) Alexander; sisters Bernice (Thomas) Cooke and Marie (Douglas) Skinn, brother Arnold Adams, and brother-in-law Charles (Carol) Stankus.
John was a proud crane operator with the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 793. He enjoyed boating, fishing and driving around in his convertible.
A memorial celebration will be held at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday, November 30, 2025 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m., with words of remembrance at 2:30.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of John are asked to consider the Diabetes Canada.

Although we never met John, I heard many tales and one thing is certain. I consider your son Brian to be more than a colleague/boss but a friend and fine human being. You raised a good man in Brian. A legacy to be proud of. May the lords peace be with you all.

Remembering Uncle John brings a lot of smiles. One fond memory is cruising around on our motorcycles and him with his cigar hanging out his mouth. Of course I had to try a cigar too but it left me coughing and crying, I have no idea how he did it.
