Judy Long

Judy will be deeply missed. My condolences to her loved ones. She was a kind and lovely person, and I'll always remember her warmth and strength. I'm so grateful to have had the chance to care for her as her PSW, She showed incredible resilience and courage, and her memory will be a blessing to all who knew her. To Ian and April, Laura and George and her Grandchildren, sending you lots of love during this tough time- she loved you so much and will be remembered in your hearts forever- her legacy of love and kindness will live on through you all.

Judy Long was more than someone I cared for — she was a light in every room she entered. As her PSW, I had the privilege of spending time with a woman whose warmth, wisdom, and lively spirit touched everyone around her. Her meaningful conversations, gentle advice, and ever-present smile reminded me daily of the value of kindness and connection. Even in quiet moments, Judy’s presence brought a sense of peace and grace. Though she is no longer with us, her laughter, compassion, and strength will always remain in the hearts of those she touched. Caring for Judy was an honor I’ll never forget. My prayers are with Ian and April,Laura and George and her grandchildren.

So very sorry to hear of Judy’s passing, we meet a few years ago at the cottage, she welcomed us with such kindness and showing us some of her beautiful art work, she had even done one highlighting the beautiful birch trees in our backyard in NL, she was really special and I know she will be missed by your whole family but she left a ton of great memories for you all, our love and prayers are with all the family.

Sorry to hear the passing of our friendJudy. We have many good memories with her at the cottage. Whenever there was a project she was always there. Quick with a joke and always smiling and encouraging. You will be deeply missed so we say so long for now but will see you again in heaven. Amen

Dear Laura and Ian, I was so deeply saddened and heartbroken to hear about the loss of your mom. There truly are no words that can ease the pain of losing someone so special, but please know that my heart is with you and your family during this incredibly difficult time. I will always remember how she and Alan made me feel so supported during a time in my life when I desperately needed it. We were so lucky to know Judy as a neighbour. She was so friendly and engaging! We are thinking of you all Laura, George, Gavin and Tyler. In time, we know you will find comfort in lots of wonderful memories of time well-spent with Judy at home and at that wonderful cottage on Lake of Bays.

I’m so sorry for your loss Laura, George and the boys. I got to know Judy last summer, she made a wonderful impression on me. She invited me to her cottage where she showed me warmth, kindness. She was an amazing woman with many talents. One of which was going up and down the hill to the lake at the cottage. She out paced me ! There are no words that I can say to ease your pain or loss but know that you and your family are n my prayers. May God comfort you, give you his peace at this difficult time.

Judy has been a dear friend for many years. First meeting in 2014 at the golf course. We were the first two golfers meeting to play with the London Newcomers club. What heartbreaking news! Laura and Ian you are in my thoughts and prayers. Your mom was such an incredible lady and I have so many fond memories of her and the time we spent together growing up and as adults. Family was always so important to her, it is nice to know that she was surrounded by family at the end.

My condolences to Judy’s family. I knew Judy though the London Newcomers golf league. She was always kind and very support when I first joined and lots of fun to chat with! She will be missed at golf as a good friend to many of the ladies. Rest in Peace Judy! ❤️
