Christene “Bayne” Lindsay
March 6, 2026
Bayne Lindsay passed peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2026, surrounded by her family. Bayne had a full life with her husband Ronald of 67 years, and her four children Ross (Diane), John (Sue), Scott (Margaret), and Diana (Josh). She was blessed with six grandchildren, Samantha (Gordie), Matthew (Kristie), Zachary (Celina), Taylor, Samuel, Marlo and three great-grandchildren, Elena, Charlotte and Mireya.
Bayne was a source of joy and comfort to those in her life, a dedicated friend, parent, aunt and grandparent who cared deeply for all those around her. She is predeceased by her brother Lloyd (Roberta) and her son Ross.
To know Bayne was to be welcomed into her home and her heart, either for five minutes or a lifetime. Her family will treasure their years with her for their entire lives.
The Lindsay family will forever be grateful to the palliative care team that cared for Bayne in the end of her life; their empathy and dedication are deeply appreciated.
Visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated.
