Peacefully, on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Victoria Hospital, London in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Barbara for 66 years. Cherished father of Deborah Bondy, Kevin Doak (Tracey) and Sherri-Lynn McDermid. Proud Papa of Brittney and Brandon and Jamie-Lynn and Shasta. Predeceased by his brother Barry Doak and sister Grace Adams, sister-in-law Marilyn Sterling, and brother-in-law Tony Peirone. Missed by sister-in-law Diane Graydon (Derek) and brother-in-law Rick Purrott (Sandra).
Cremation has taken place.
For anyone wanting to make a donation in Carmen’s name, the family suggests consideration of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, the Alzheimer Society of Canada, or the Canadian Cancer Society.

Dear Barbara, Deborah, Kevin & Tracey, Sherri, Brittney, Brandon, Jamie, Shasta: Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Carmen! He was special to me, being a King Scout in Goderich when I was involved as a leader in his Scout Troop. I also hired him at A&P in Goderich where he spent a life time working in Goderich, Windsor and London. He was loved by all who worked with him, particularly in the London stores. Carmen will be sorely missed by all who knew him!
