There are people whose presence illuminates a room, and there are people whose life's work and character leave a lasting foundation in the hearts of those who knew them. Margret O'Shea was such a woman. With her passing, the community loses not only a valued member of the community, but a person of immeasurable worth, profound empathy, and unwavering strength. Margret had a gift for building bridges—between people, ideas, and generations. Her view of the world was always characterized by deep compassion. Where others saw obstacles, she offered patience, energy, and a listening ear. She was a reliable support, a confidante in quiet moments, and a driving force when it came to taking action and standing up for one another. "The most beautiful thing a person can leave behind is a smile on the faces of those who think of them." Those who think of Margret remember her very special way of making people feel heard and valued. She left her mark – a legacy of helpfulness, warmth, and dedication that will remain visible even after her death. We mourn the loss of a wonderful woman whose memory we will always cherish. Our deepest sympathies go out to her family, her friends, and all those who must now share in this painful loss. Margret O'Shea will be sorely missed, but she lives on in the stories we tell about her and in the values she exemplified. With deepest sorrow and gratitude, Hans Mitrovic your brother.
