Francesco (Frank) Vecchio

On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, in his 94^th year, Francesco “Frank” Vecchio of London passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.  Beloved husband of Leonella Vecchio for 76 years.  Cherished father of Mike Vecchio (deceased – Carmela), Franca Vecchio (Tony), Norina Vecchio (Angelo), and Albert Vecchio (Alexandra).

Proud Nonno of Vanessa Vecchio-Tamasi (Mike), John Vecchio (Jennifer), Maria McNeil (Brad), Michael David Vecchio (Britni), Jessica Melnick (John), John Frank Vecchio (Derek), Krista Vecchio (Kyle), Renee Vecchio and Frank Vecchio.  Great-Nonno to Kaylee, Alice, Giana, Jordan, Tyler, Ethan, and Caleb.

Missed by siblings Annetta Lepore and Ralph Vecchio (Carla); brothers and sisters-in-law Fiore Vecchio (Maria), Esterina Miniaci, and Guiseppe Vecchio.  Also missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews in both Canada and Italy.

Predeceased by siblings Cecilia, Berardo, Maria, Vercillo, Alberto, Milio; and brothers and sisters-in-law Teresa, Francesco, Generino, Amelia, Ida, Antonio, and Ada.

Visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Parish at 345 Lyle Street, London, on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., followed by entombment at St. Peter’s Cemetery, London.
