Matthew Angelo Rossoni passed away suddenly on June 23, 2026 at the age of thirty-seven. Matthew is survived by his wife Kiana (Scott), their children, Lyla and Oliver, and their feline companion, Mittens, all of whom he loved beyond words.
Beloved son of Rodd and Maureen (née Durand) and devoted brother to Sarah (Ryan) and Melissa (Joel). Cherished goofy uncle to Norah, Eliza, Isaac, Charlotte, and Lily. He will be deeply missed by the Scott family: Chris, Babita (Paul), Kalila, Richard, and Christopher (Sarah).
Matthew was a kind and loving person who wore his heart on his sleeve. He had the best laugh and was always the funniest person in the room. Matt loved the arts, animals, and the Green Bay Packers, but most of all, he loved his family.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be conducted at Westview Funeral Home, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of Matthew to either the Canadian Mental Health Association or a local arts association of your choosing.

Matt’s way of being unencumbered of our self-imposed stodgier filters gave us vicarious joy, and now challenges ourselves to dance like there's nobody watching. Condolences to the family and thanks for being steward to such a soul.

You were an amazing brother in law to me and I would have loved you to have been able to see your incredible nephew Jason more than just the once at our wedding back in 2018 but I know you and the other family members who have already gone will watch over him plus Lyla, Oliver, Daniel, Jamie and Leia too. Not only were my younger son, Tim, and Matt in the same grade at Mother Teresa S.S., but after graduation they both ended up going through the Film program at Western. Although their paths diverged after that (Tim is now in Toronto) they both retained an interest in experimental film, e.g. Guy Maddin and "My Winnipeg". Our sincerest condolences go out to his children, wife, and extended family.

You physical presence maybe not be felt anymore. Yet your spirit and soul will carry on in every smile and memory that recalled. You'll be in all are thoughts on the big days you'll never see and the little moments when watching TV. Won't be able to watch Black Books with out thinking of you
