Karitas “Kari” Aitken
September 12, 2026
Kari Aitken passed peacefully into the presence of her Saviour, Jesus, at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 65 years of age. Loving sister of Julia Corbett (Wayne) and adored aunt of Sam Corbett. She was predeceased by her parents, Norman and Donna (Breckman). She worked for Forte (Masonite/Herring doors) for 27 years. Kari loved to travel with her sister Julia. She was involved in her church and was a long-time member of the Gideons. She was kind and gentle, and was known for her wonderful sense of humour. Special thanks to the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice, who took such good care of her. Cremation has taken place.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, September 26th at 10:00 a.m. As a special request the family are asking guests to wear something purple.
Those wishing to donate in memory of Kari are asked to consider The Gideons/ShareWord Global or Redemption Bible Chapel or Heritage Bible College.
