Paul David Jarrett
September 2, 2026
Peacefully and with family by his side, on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at London University Hospital in his 57th year, Paul passed on to eternity. Beloved husband of Heidi Jarrett (née Lefler), much loved son of Paul Dennis Jarrett and the late Carol Jarrett (née Taylor) and brother of Theresa Jarrett Bowden. Adored uncle to Taylor and Hailey Bowden, Hannah and Caleb Rebuk, Braden, Tristan and Jaron Lefler, Shaina Carrington, Rhianna Escobar, Jay McDonald and Cassandra Peace-Hall. Paul is survived by his uncles, Ward Taylor and the late Christine Taylor, Anthony and Liz Taylor, and Tim and Edward Taylor.
Paul was a man of deep faith, thoughtful generosity and mischievous fun. As taught by his grandmother, Priscilla Taylor, he enjoyed cooking and entertaining. Paul was an excellent musician and sound engineer. He played and served in many churches and at many conferences across Canada.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Paul Jarrett Memorial Award at Fanshawe College.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, September 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Gateway Church, 890 Sarnia Road, London.

There hasn’t been a day since I met Paul that I haven’t thought about him and smiled when wrapping cables. “Over, under, over, under” he’d say with sarcasm as if common sense was in low supply, but he’d never lose his warm grin, no matter how much our tech problems tested his patience. I wrap cables every day and since that hasn’t changed in 5 years, I doubt I’ll ever go a day without thinking of Paul.

Paul was a lovely person to work with, and he will be deeply missed by the Fanshawe community.
Devastated to hear this news, deepest condolences to all family and friends. Paul brought the best in many people, may God bless and he find comfort with the Lord
Remembering Paul’s faith, humour, kindness and talent… Sending love to Heidi and all his family.
There are fond memories in my heart of Paul's sense of humor, and the big brother he was to all of us youth growing up at LGT. He will be dearly missed. My deepest condolences to Heidi, Steve, Theresa, Taylor, and family... Sending prayers of God's love and peace; and the promises we have in Jesus.
Paul was such a gentle soul—a true professional with a great heart for the people around him. I will deeply miss sitting beside him at gigs, enjoying his wonderful sense of humour and listening to his stories about everything he was doing with his family and through his work. Paul lived out his faith in his own quiet way, and I will always remember him for the kindness and goodness he brought into the lives of those around him.
Paul was a teacher who pushed every student to be the best version of themselves. He was loved by all who he taught, and his personality lit up every lecture. He will be deeply missed in every way, especially within his Fanshawe community
Paul believed in me. To do what I'm doing now in my career. He was a mentor and a friend.
My nephew Paul Jarrett was a gift to this world. His joy for life was evident in every step he took, and his love for family was unmatched. He had a way of making everyone feel special, reminding us of what truly matters. Though we wish we had more time with him, we are forever grateful for the moments we shared. Paul, thank you for teaching us to cherish every day. You will always be our shining star.

I had the privilege of getting to know Paul through his friends and family. Our conversations were always full of useful information and laughter flowed easily. I will always remember him smiling, telling jokes and genuinely happy …just like he was at all the common events we attended. My deepest condolences go out to his beautiful wife and family. Rest in peace 🕊️
