Peacefully at London, Ontario on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at University Hospital at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Ana (née Hrubik) for 66 years. Loving father of Anne and Jan. Adored grandfather of Rachel C. Orchard (née Brown), Jan S. Balca and Jacob T. Balca. Dear great-grandfather of James and Graham. The family would like to thank Dr. Cassandra Lin-Pepe and Dr. Dan Pepe for their kindness, compassion and wonderful care over the last several years, as well as the Community Paramedicine team in London.
A funeral service will be conducted at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday, September 28, 2026 at 2:00, with visitation one hour prior.
