Georgette Abdalla Fattal

It is with great sadness and trust in God’s mercy that we announce the passing of Georgette Abdalla Fattal on Monday, October 26, 2026, at the age of 96. Georgette was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully at home.
Georgette was born on March 9, 1930, in El Obeid, Sudan, to parents Abdalla Fattal and Marie Hanna Daniel. She was the third oldest of seven siblings: Jean Fattal, George Fattal, Joseph Fattal, Antoine Fattal, Laurette Samman (née Fattal), and Maurice Fattal.
She was married to her beloved husband, Sobhi Fattal, who predeceased her in 1984. Georgette was a loving and dedicated mother to Farid Fattal, Fouad Fattal, and Marie Saad (née Fattal); and a dear mother-in-law to Rachid Saad and the late Sonia Fattal (née Sarafian).
She was the cherished grandmother of Lydia Saad-Roy, Géhane Saad-Gualtieri (Patrizio Gualtieri), Morris Saad (Ainsleigh Saad), Susie Saad-Raviele (Michael Raviele), Andrew Fattal, and Alex Fattal (Heid Le); and the proud great-grandmother of Chloé Petrie, Carmine-Luca Raviele, Noah Petrie, Matias Roy, Sofia Raviele, Nile Saad, Blake Saad, Téa Raviele and Edward Fattal.
Her absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew her, and she will be missed beyond words. We find solace in our faith, knowing she is now reunited with the Lord. Though she is no longer with us in sight, she will forever be our guardian angel watching over us.
Visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Following the service, Georgette will be laid to rest at St. Peter’s Cemetery, 806 Victoria Street, London. Please join us for a Mercy Meal following the burial at St. John the Baptist Melkite Catholic Church, 1350 Huron Street, London.
