May 10, 2021
Passed away peacefully on Monday, May 10, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia, Dr. Raymond Bruce, of Port Franks (recently, of Country Manor Estates, in Thedford), in his 90th year. He has gone to be with his beloved wife, the late Charon (2007). Raymond is survived by his loving children: Susan (Louis) Cassibo, Carol Mott, Julie (Ray) Drummond; cherished grandchildren: Jillian Foxall, Eric Foxall (Amanda Jobin), Katrina (Cliff) Noun, Keshia (Chris) McFarlane, Kyle Drummond (Rachel), Kimberly Cassibo (Brent Mortimore), Alesha Drummond (Andrew Bobas); and great-grandchildren: Ethan, Cydney, Jaela, Benjamin, Grayson, Charlotte, Anderson, Clara, Arianna, Owen, and Jaxon. Also missed by his sister, Clare Ramsden, of England. Predeceased by his parents, Albert Herbert Bruce and Elsie Fowler, of England; and his siblings: Freda Giffen, Edward Bruce, and Herbert Bruce. Dr. Bruce enjoyed a long and prosperous life and career as a chiropractor and acupuncturist, in London, and then later, in Port Franks. He was a very active enthusiast of golf and tennis, especially when it concluded in a trip to Timmies. He was a master gardener, which brought joy to many of his friends and patients. A sunny day on the water fishing, catch and release, was his idea of a perfect day. He treasured his many trips to his homeland of Yorkshire, England, hiking the trails of Shipley Glen, and visits with his siblings, nieces, and nephews. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Dr. Bruce are asked to consider the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College or Diabetes Canada.

Raymond was a wonderful person in the community, playing darts, helping the Seniors on the board, at events, lunches, was a joy to watch on the dance floor. We had great times when he was around.
Dear Susan, Carol and Julie, So sorry to hear of Arthur's passing. Knew you all back in the late 1950's-Early 1960's. when you were very young. So pleased that you have this large family around you all. May you find peace and grace that he is in a better place. Sincerely, Heather (Dennison) Brandt
