Albert ‘Albie’ Theodore Vissers
May 22, 2020
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, uncle and great-uncle on Friday, May 22, 2020. Lambert (Albert/Albie) Theodore Vissers, our special angel, gained his wings and was lovingly welcomed by his Mom and Dad.
Albert is predeceased by his Mom and Dad, Gerry (2004) and Johanna (2015). He will be greatly missed by sister MaryAnne Campbell (Peter), nieces Allison Beharriell (Mike), Kelly Gilroy (Joe) and great-niece Molly Gilroy.
There are no words to express our gratitude to Middlesex Community Living and all his support workers over the years that helped him live a full and happy life! A sincere thank you to Dr. Carter and his team for the excellent care they provided this past year. We would also like to thank the doctors and nurses at Strathroy General Hospital, who ensured that Albert’s final journey back to his loving Mom and Dad was comfortable and peaceful.
A private family service has occurred. In Albert’s memory, donations to Middlesex Community Living or the Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex would be greatly appreciated.
“His EXTRA chromosome made him EXTRA special to all those who knew and loved him!”

Dear Mary Anne and family. I wish to express my sincere condolences on learning of the death of your dear brother. I am deeply sorry that I have just learned of your sad news, as I was scanning for information about a friend. I remember you and your mother with such fondness from my years at Zack's. You will miss your dear Albert "Albie", and these strange times in which we currently find ourselves certainly do nothing to ease the pain. Thinking of you with love and compassion, Maureen.
