Alexander ‘Alex’ Paterson

Peacefully at his residence on Friday, April 8, 2022, in his 96th year. Beloved husband of Catherine (Cathie) Paterson for 71 years. Loving father of Elaine and David Sawyer. Proud grandfather of Joshua (Faith), Cate (Doug), and Kim (Jordan). Very proud to have lived long enough to enjoy his great-grandchildren Maddox, Alex and Margaux. Alex, Cathy and Elaine arrived in Canada from Scotland in June, 1957. He worked at Northern Telecom as an electrical engineer until
he retired. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at ANNDining, 140 Ann Street at Talbot, London on Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Alex are asked to consider The Salvation Army or a charity of your choice.
