Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, October 18th, 2015 following a lengthy illness at the age of 42. Alise leaves behind her devoted husband and soulmate, Jaysen, and her proud and loving parents Mara Senkevics, of Thornhill, and Harry and Fiona Senkevics, of London. She will be forever missed and mourned by her sisters who meant everything to her: Daila (Ken) Webster, of Thornhill, and Benita Senkevics, of London. Special auntie to Blake and Beth. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends too numerous to mention all of whom played a special role in Alise’s life. She touched the heart of all who knew her and is now in the arms of an angel. Smooksie, Laya and Chia will miss their daily cuddles and kitty treats. Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. A Celebration of Life will be held at RIVERBEND GOLF COMMUNITY, 1200 Sandy Somerville Drive, London, on Saturday, October 24th, 2015 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada (London), Salthaven Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Centre or to St. Joseph’s Hospice (London) would be appreciated.

Jaysen, we are so sorry to hear about your wife, Alise's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this tough time. If you are ever in Tavistock we would love to see our third son. Take care.
Dear Jaysen I was so sorry to hear of Alise's passing. Your Mom has kept me posted re her health problems and she has gone through so much. What a brave lady1.. At least now she is free of pain and at peace. Please accept my sincere sympathy. .Unfortunately I can't make it to the funeral but my thoughts will be with you. Dorothy

Alise, you were my Earth Angel. My heart is breaking today...I only heard the news yesterday, and am devastated not to have learned sooner...to have bid you a proper goodbye...to have had the chance to meet your friends and family and hear their stories... I can't believe how connected we were (and still are) after only one in-person visit...but that's how you touched people...your soul was so beautiful (and is now), that it's understandable God would want you in Heaven with him. But for those of us left behind, this loss is unimaginable. I feel so safe now; knowing you are watching over me. You may be the one who saved us two weeks ago when the car hit...it wouldn't surprise me. No longer an Earth Angel, you are where you belong...pain-free, young, beautiful, and soaring above us...a Heavenly Angel who will always be in our hearts. I love you, and know we'll meet again someday. Thank you for the kind words you sent through Ann yesterday...they meant so much, and have brought me peace...for how could I not sense you were gone long before I was told? Domenic and I would like to extend our deepest condolescences to Jay , her loving husband and to her family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all to give you strenth during this time of overwhelming sorrow.

Jaysen I only knew of Alise through her Richmond winery days, she ws such a caring and joyful person who was multitasking all the time and yet had plenty of time for me when it came to my order, I cannot imagine the pain you have of your loss . Is it not wonderful that even at a time such as this that we can reflect back on the special gifts that Alise had. Our prayers are for you c d your family to give you strength in this time of sorrow. Jay, when Alise spoke of you, and she so often did, she said always said how you were her everything. Just wanted to extend our deepest sympathies to Jay...and the family. I cannot imagine the pain you are feeling. Alise was such a beautiful girl and touched so many lives...and Jay...she never stopped talking about how amazing a husband you were. Her beautiful face will be missed but never forgotten. Colin and I send our deepest sympathies. We only met Alise the once at Ken and Daila's wedding, but even then it was clear she had a light and a joyfulness about her. Alise, I spent many hours with Mara tracking your state of health and going through a whole range of emotions with her. I know how much you mean to your family and will miss hearing updates, talking of what was happening and living through some memories of better times with Mara. Sincere condolences to your family.
Alise, we met through the support group, you were always so kind and supportive to everyone I wear the Grey Brain Tumor 'Hope' pin you gave me and think of you often and fondly. May you fly with the angels. Jayson, you were Alise's world and her rock she truly adored you. She will be forever missed.
The world has lost a truly special person. I had the pleasure of working with Alise at Standard Radio...she was a sales rep and I was a creative writer. Alise was an absolute joy - always upbeat...her smile lit up the office. To Jay and Alise's family, I extend my heartfelt sympathy. I know you will miss her terribly. May it ease your pain a bit to know that others share your sorrow. RIP dear Alise. (Please say "hi" to my Dad for me!)
