Anne ‘Nancy’ (née McMillan) Kennedy

September 6, 2020

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving children, Morag and Iain, who were by her side, on Sunday, September 6, 2020, in her 86th year. Beloved spouse of 65 years to the late Charles Ian Kennedy. Precious mother of Morag Murray (Glen) and Iain Kennedy (Lori). Cherished grandmother of Andrew Todd (Katie), Alison Todd, Mitchell and Madison Kennedy, Aaron and Shannon Murray. Loved daughter of Mary and Phillip McMillan. Dear sister of Peter. Predeceased by her brother Phillip and sister Irene. She will be deeply missed by friends and family. Nancy lived her life as a bonnie lass from Fife, Scotland with love, joy, determination and a wonderful sense of Scottish humour. She cherished her time spent with family and was happiest in their presence. Nancy was the foundation of our family and provided unconditional love and support her entire life. She will be remembered for being a strong lady born in Scotland, who helped everyone that she met throughout her life, in countries all over the world. Nancy had an amazing life filled with love and laughter. Special thanks to the entire team at St. Joseph’s Health Care, Parkwood Institute including Dr. Bevan, Dr. Hamilton and Dr. Hostetler for their thoughtful and compassionate care. A private family service will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Nancy are asked to consider the Breast Cancer Society of Canada.
