March 15th, 1949 – June 2nd, 2014
Passed away suddenly on the shore of Little Beach next to the water he loved. He was the proud son of Joaquim and Elvira. Adored husband of Maria Isabel. Dearest and beloved father to Linda and Reuben. He will be missed by his Godfather Antonio Carreira, brother Jose, Godchildren, nieces and nephews. Close family and friends will be received to celebrate this extraordinary man who honourably serviced his motherland with the Corpo de Fuzileiros de Portugal for over 8 years. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday, June 9th, 2014 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. with prayers at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Justin’s Parish, 855 Jalna Boulevard, London, on Tuesday, June 10th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at St. Peter’s Holy Family Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.

Dear Reuben, Linda and Momma Romao It is difficult to find the right words to express our sadness at hearing of your sudden and great loss of your father/husband. Although we cannot be there in person to share your grief, we are sending you our prayers and blessings for the strength to carry on moment by moment through this hardship.
