Antonio “Tony” Cardoso

Antonio “Tony” Cardoso, peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Monday, October 19, 2026, with family by his side, Tony Cardoso of London in his 82^nd year. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Justina Cardoso (2016).

Loving father of Sergio Cardoso (Lisa), Paul Cardoso (Tanya), and Margarida Durka (Phil). Cherished grandfather of Owen, Lily, and Mason Durka, Cristian, Marcus and Joshua Cardoso. He loved watching and spending time with his grandchildren as they grew. Dear brother of Daniel Cardoso (Cidalia). He was predeceased by his brother, Manuel Cardoso, and is missed by his sister-in-law, Leonor Cardoso, nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.

Tony was born in Calvaria de Cima – Porto de Mós, Portugal, and immigrated to London, Canada, in 1970. Tony was proud of his 25 years of work at McKay-Cocker (Magil). He was an avid soccer fan of Sporting. Tony had a green thumb, and his love of gardening was evident in his vegetable garden and fruit trees.

Visitation will take place at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, October 21st, 2026, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.  A Funeral Mass will be conducted on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Justin’s Parish, 855 Jalna Boulevard, London.
