Audrey Flanagan (née Ashworth)

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on September 7, 2026, at University Hospital, London, at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife of her late husband, Gord, for 55 years. Loved mother of Susan Bedford and Simon Flanagan (Gail). Cherished grandmother of Clare (Oscar), Morgan (Derek), and Elora. Dear sister of Mavis Firth (Michael) of Coulsdon, England.

Born in Wallasey, England, on February 06, 1934. Audrey and family immigrated to Canada in 1967. Audrey worked at the St. Thomas Public Library and the Ontario Psychiatric Hospital. She was an avid reader, had a wealth of trivia knowledge, and relished completing the NYT crossword. In her retirement, she enjoyed playing bridge, participating in her book club, and travelling.

A private family service will take place at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre. Interment will be held at a later date.

In place of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
